I have a 1951 Farmall M with a T coded engine block along with numerous castings with either U or W on them. I believe the tractor to be a first quarter factory complete like late March or early April 1951 from some information provided here on this forum. The T casting date on the engine block is late October as I recall. The other early castings on the rest of the tractor up until early February are U codes and the later ones are W codes. I don't have any V codes on this tractor that I have found. This is an original factory correct tractor as it was never a couple of miles from where it was delivered in Iowa until I brought it to Missouri. I am the third owner and the first non-family member to own the tractor and know it's history very well. Just wanted to provide a real case scenario to support your response, Hal.
