You probably don't. s/n 391357 was in the VERY late part of 1953 so chances are you are ok. You could check the s/n on the motor. That COULDN'T burn off because it is stamped in the block. Somebody smarter can tell you where it is on an H. IIRC it is behind the mag/dist??? On a diesel is it above the inj pump. :wink:
You can read the casting codes on your tractor and they will tell you when the parts were made. This will put you pretty close on what year the tractor is.
