To "add" more comment about the 10SI Delcos.You can use either 3 OR 1 wire hook up,but like "Fullers Farmalls posted father down,you could have a LOW rpm charging issue if you do not get the CORRECT !!!! 1 wire Delco.
They do make the 1 wire Delco voltage regulator in a "LOW TURN ON ". I would want to know this info before I bought a one wire Delco alternator.
My Delco currently has a STANDARD 1 wire regulator in it.It will only start charging when I get the engine RPMs in the upper end.If the voltage regulator quits me in the near future,I will be installing a "low turn on" voltage regulator to replace it!
