im my opinion, i would check if it was made by IH or a manufacturer that made it and put IH emblem on it,,like philco, they made refers and sound stuff, even radios for ford, around the 60's>70's a lot of ford cars had a philco radio in them, but did ford own philco, good question, same as IH, did they own a refer company..[the list can go for ever, you get the idea]..maybe some one might have a better answer...
