I've got a tractor that came with some 14.9's on stock rims, and they look funny. I don't think they give much flotation because the rim is so narrow the tire can't spread out.

You can alleviate the funny factor some by puting 6.50's on the front.

Remember that the higher speed in all gears is accompanied by an equivalent loss of torque and horsepower.

My tires will go to an M when I get the time.
