That's actually a BN. It used the same axle tube as the A. The B used a wider one. An easy way to ID a B vs BN is the right side seat bracket. On a B there is space between it and the fender.
The B never came with hydraulics, as it was replaced by the C after a few years. Supposedly some late B's came with a provision for the hydraulic pump cast into the block.
The seat is the same, the battery came under the seat instead of hanging by the starter like in the top picture.
Other than the A had hydraulics available, and the extra /wider axle tube(s), and front axle/bolster, they are identical.
