There is definitely supposed to be a swinging part to the drawbar. I haven't seen a W-4 close up for many years, but I'm pretty certain the swinging drawbar should be heavier than the equivalent part on an H. One reason being that (if my "cloudy" recollection is anywhere near accurate) the roller only has one bolt to fasten it to the swinging piece and therefore needs a bigger bolt and hole (this hole is rearward from the fixed angle iron piece mentioned in another post) to take the force, thus meaning the drawbar is thicker than on an H. The H has two bolt holes. Remember the fixed part on an H is flat whereas the fixed part on the W-4 is an angle iron, so the roller on a H has the two bolt holes, one in front and one in back, of the flat fixed part. Hope this isn't confusing. I believe that some of the H's and M's didn't have a roller, but just a "U" shaped bracket (still needing two holes in the swinging drawbar) that slid on the fixed drawbar during a turn.
