I think the Non-Super 9 series diesels were D335's, and the Super 9 series diesels, 600D's and 650 D's were D350's.
These engines were 4 cylinder gas start diesels, similar to, but larger than the D248's in the MD's and 6 series tractors and their respective replacements up to the D-281 in the 450's.
