Super-A brake pedal - wobbles on shaft

My right brake pedal is worn really bad on the shaft (where it bolts just under the floorboard). I removed it to see if it can be taken apart and a bushing inserted to fix it. (impact wrench pays for itself again!) I got the pin out but cant get it to come apart. Has anyone had to do this? Is this repairable or do i need to start shopping the salvage yards? In the mean time, I thought I'd take it to a maching shop to see if they can do anything with it.
