I have an old McCormick 10' grain drill that has sat in my fence row for the past 10 years and who knows how long in someone else's grove. It was made before the MF drill.
The shaft that turns the feeder gear in the grain cups is frozen up and won't turn. It passes through 10 or 11 bushings, any one (or several) of which could be the rusty one.
Got any good ideas about how to free it up or at least figure out which bushings are stuck, without taking the whole thing apart ?
