JDHump and I had several emails on Monday afternoon. He pulled the pistons and found the oil scraper rings had absolutely no grooves in them. All 4 pistons had crud on the heads. What caught my attention was his pistons have 3 compression rings and 2 oil scraper rings. Has anybody heard of this? I wonder if this engine has had one rebuild already?
