Using a triangular file (easiest after removal) reshape he teeth uniformly so they have an undercut profile (like the unused ones at the "Idle" end of the travel. Weld the bent notch so it can also be reshaped to fit the new teeth. There are reproduction parts made, and the other option is a friction style lever (my preference) that is a direct replacement. Correct police will snear at it but they are not driving it. Jim
