John deere bought a bunch of tractors from IH in 1950, painted them green and sold them as new and improved john deeres through there dealer net work. Due to demand for the tractors John Deers discontinued the program for finacial reasons. Hey just making a joke. Don't pay any mind to my answer because I don't know.
