Here are some pictures of why I think my decals might have been original.
It's that where they were is down to bare metal.
I've seen very decals do that before - they take the paint with them when they go. If they were newer decals, I'm not really sure if they'd do THAT.
... but I'm far from a decal expert.
The tractor was obviously repainted once, crudely, and the new paint appears to cover one layer of what I assume is original paint. That new layer covered where these decals would have been. no new ones were applied.
Nothing on the tractor (after taking EVERYTHING apart) leads me to believe it was re-painted more than once, but obviously hard to know for sure.
I don't care what decals I end up with, so not trying to argue that these HAVE to be the ones, I just don't want to go stick one set on just to find out it's the wrong one!
