A stock H engine is approximately 2.5 Liters, and only 22HP from the factory IIRC.
Just look at what they're doing with engines that size in cars these days. Well over 115HP from the factory. The car engines are much lighter built, made from aluminum, and they run 100,000 miles or more, producing 10 times the HP of an H.
Put that kind of precision machining into an H engine and it ought to be good for 200-300HP. All you need is money.
