A few days ago I posted a message concerning my erratic throttle operation. Thanks to The Red and others who responded I went into the governor area and the thrust bearing is a little loose but not much wiggle. I also got into the throttle shaft connection under the slanted plate and lined it up according to my manual, as close as I could. There seems to be some looseness in the throttle rod connection. With the speed control full open and the throttle rod up all the way (butterfly valve open) the pin would not slide in freely. I adjusted the connecting rod all it would adjust and put it together. The engine runs OK now and follows the throttle settings pretty well. I did put a slightly shorter governor spring in also. The governor seems to operate very well. I would like to know if I can buy a kit to go in the governor. It seems everything is worn exessively but I can make it now with what I have done especially in my operations. Thanks again for your help. Ed
