Tom,My regular does the same as yours,gas justs runs,at that point I shut the gas off.After a crank or two she will start and than I turn the gas back on.She runs good for a 83 year old tractor.Its probally my favorite.The steel wheels and rust adds class to a forgotten tractor.Not many people can identify the old F series much less the Regular
