Farmall M Clutch pedal shaft bushing

I am going to replace the oil seals on the pedal shaft on my MD. Someone here on the forum suggested also replacing the bushing on the clutch pedal to take the play out of the pedal. The local Case/IH dealer here says there is no bushing between the clutch pedal and the shaft. That if you want to take the play out of it, you have to bore it and make your own bushing. Correct or not?? If there is a bushing, what is the IH part no?
