The link below may help you with IH ratios if you are thinking about reducing speeds in first. It doesn't cover W-6 though, but D Slater just gave you the W-6 ratio. W-6 ring and pinion will speed up a M. If going the other way, M gears in a W-6 will slow it down.
It should be noted that SMTA and up parts may not interchange with earlier same size tractors. In some cases a machinist might be able to do some magic.
