what kills lugging power with a hair dryer is that point that you either get under the boost pressure or it starts to hold the pistons back from over pressure . I also have a UGLY 806 diesel that runs like a scalded dog and it is set at 110hp with out a turbo . Many years ago when the 806 first came out the person i worked for bought the vary first one in this area and the tractor was not three days old when he had a Turboneic turbo installed by a local company here . The next weekend i went with my uncle when he bought the second 806 and like my boss he had the same company install the same set up. Spent many hours on both of them tractors and back then man they were the horse. A close friend of mine has a 64 806 that has had a turbo on it since day one and it is set at 128h/p . Now as to the H/P of my old bosses and my uncle's i can not tell ya but i can tell ya that we could pull the John Bean two row tater harvester with out any extra tractor hooked on the ft it would also handle the 470 18 foot disc in first high in our hills .
