One more suggestion before splitting...If you backed the bolts off on the pressure plate, and still the plate is stuck, it must be stuck big time. I'd try one more thing (I've had to do this with trucks before) 1st. let me ask you this...have you let the tractor sit and run in neutral, and let the engine come up to operating temperature??? I've had to do this on farm trucks, usually the flywheel will heat up enough, so that you can then jar it and break the plate loose. Ok...here's my suggestion. put it in neutral and let it come up to operating temp. maybe even put something over the radiator to make it go ahead and warm up. When its up to temp. Start it in gear and drive around....pushing the cluth in, and hitting the brakes. I've even jacked a wheel up, started in gear, and had someone let the jack down and drove off. I wouldn't guarantee this will work, but I've done it before and its worked for me. Its kind of amazing that it could get stuck that much, in a relatively short time period. I think, at least for me, the temperature from the engine does a whole bunch to help free it up. Hey post back and let us all know how you got along. No matter what----be darn careful!!!! Don't let you or someone else get hurt with the darn thing!!
