rough running A

Starts fine from first crank. Runs fine when idling but when giving more throttle it runs rough. When we pull the 1st cylinder spark plug wire off it stalls, when we pull it off the other 3 not much of change. But we still have spark going to the plugs. We have new spark plugs and new wires. Is there anything else, we should change or check. Thanks in advance.
