I found my problem. The new points that we installed as part of the tune up were faulty. They looked fine but with the dist. off the M we spoted it. When the dist. lobes hit the points, that contact was lose and turned. I put new points in the dist. and it runs like a top. Thanks for all the help and advice. I really appreciate this forum and all its helpful nenbers. Kent
