Todd,
I had a really bad experience with rebuilt starters for an MD. I recently restored an MD and bought a rebuilt starter from Case/IH. It was the wrong one as the drive didn't engage with the flywheel. The starter is different for MD's and Super MD's and 400D's and 450's even though the engine is the same. All the onew they had listed in their book were ones that would not work on a straight MD. I finally got the right starter from CT Farm & Country with the Stock # 90082-233. Roger
