I have used those Ford jacks for years, have I think 3 at present and the hydrolick is all that is supposed to hold them up but we all know the systems sag so in lue of that and for an easier way to adjust the height I just ysed an old car bumper jack under the cross bar that the lift arms pin to and that will raise the whole tractor with ease and you have no wories about it saging down and with the hydrolick system it is hard to get an exact height and you have to be on the tractor to operate the clutch but with the way I do it easy and you are not cralling on the tractor with the wheels off to change the height as you may just need a 1/4" different in height to get that wheel back on and with the engine that is the hard part.
