The turbo kit from IH originated on the TD9 crawler. An IH mechanic and partsman got together and put the list of parts needed to install it on farm tractors. The company had so many requests for the parts thay printed a manual to install the crawler turbo parts. I worked at an IH dealer at that time and had the manual. About every other word was caution and don't adjust the fuel setting.
