The loom material of choice is plastic split corrugated tubing. It slips on over the existing wires, One way to do this is to label all wire ends with a wire labeling tool (number each terminal end, and number each terminal) take photos as you remove the harness (not to tough,). Then place it on a board and staple the ends down. Place a push pin where every corner or branch is sprouting. Split what ever remains of the cotton loom, and remove it. Colors will be evident, as will length of each wire. Use quality NAPA or professional terminal ends, and solder them then shrink tube each. When done, use the split tubing to cover them, and tape the connections in the tubing with electrical tape. Jim
