I ran into the same problem on my 51 super c. Nothing against Carter and Grunewalde as they have helped a lot with needed parts, They priced me a new carrier assembly for 170.00. I was able to get one off of e-bay for 20 bucks shipped. As far as the type that you have it is no-longer available as a new part. The throw out bearing carrier from models a,b,bn,c and supers will all be the part that you are looking for. Just be sure you get the one that does not use the graphite block.
