It sounds like you already have a price in mind. I don't see how you can say you have seen what they go for. The asking price and the getting price in todays market is often miles apart. Granted the 8-16 is kind of unique because so few were made. I also know of one here in Pa and it also is as you describe. I am really anxious to see guys put a dollar value on one. Not having seen it and not having checked it out, makes it difficult to price though. I would like to get the one I know of for about $2000. Years back when collecting was still big I saw a couple sell for $5000 in running condition. Good luck.
