Not sure what your post means. If it means I lie about what I saw on tractors I sure don't like that. I may be mistaken sometimes but don't deliberately lie. All I said is what I found on tractors and the owners didn't care, or even want to find out what was correct.
Far as me finding stuff like that, thats a fact.
Did I recomend to do it? no.
Another fact is if the correct swinging drawbar is on the tractor, it and the drawbar plate you mention for PTO use is the same length to hitch pins.
After more thought maybe there's just a misunderstanding. I posted about the way drawbars I have found were rigged up and how it was done. Didn't mean to imply I was recommending any of them, but maybe it sounded that way. Although I have ground some support openings bigger to install the thicker drawbars. If its a misunderstanding thats okay by me, if not ?.
