I got that problem with my 300U lately. In my case it is symptomatic of a larger problem (plugged suction screen, I think I gotta take the reservoir cover off to clean it). A quick and dirty solution to the problem you are experiencing is to slightly pressurize the reservoir. With the engine running and the reervoir breather removed, shoot a little air into the reservoir thru the breather hole. Be careful to keep the air pressure low (5-10 psi should do it) and just shoot a little in there, then watch out for oil blowing back out when you take the air away. That should get you running again and finished with the job at hand. At first opportunity clean the suction screen.
