Very nice hydraulic job you preformed on the M. I agree that you would not want to raise the PSI too much. The pump and components will not like 2500-3500 psi like the newer equipment. Just use larger piston cylinders to do more work.
I have my Farmall 504 at about 2200 psi for loader work. I'm thinking about upgrading to 3 1/2" lift cylinders and 3" bucket cylinders. Then I will break the Speeco WFE! I have upgraded to a 17 gpm pump and high capacity filter though.
