I am with Jim on this one. The cooling system is pressurized, so unlike the thermosyphon of the C-113 and F series, it would be a really dramatic block failure to get full pressure oil supply into the water jacket. I would NOT expect gravity return oil supply to go into the pressurized cooling system.
Head gasket leak in the combustion chamber seems more likely. However, anything is possible, just seems unlikely. I would be more expecting coolant in the oil if you had a water jacket failure.
