You need to support the rear of the tractor as it will tip backwards when you pull the engine. I used a block of wood about 12 X 12.
You need a good hoist to support the engine and once you remove all the bolts you probably need to wiggle the engine to get it oof the dowel pins. You may need a helper to pry the engine off the dowels. If you don't feel comfortable find a shop to do it. Hal
