The Duckbill tractors are the first F-20 and F-30 Farmalls produced. They are called this because the enclosure for the steering gears on the top of the front bolster is in the shape of a duck's bill. These types of steering boxes were used from 1931-34 on F-30s and 1932-34 on F-20s. Later 20s and 30s used a round steering box unitl 1937 then a round box with veins cast in it until the end of production.
