Probably a bad mechanical switch, Some are on the light bar, some on the front of the steering pedistal, and some are on the starter. If on the starter, the stud sticking up on the side of the starter gets worn and the contact that moves inside the switch fails to make contact. Some new switches still do not touch the stud when the switch is activated. Most new push button switches are way wrong/cheeply made trash. Jim
