I have heard this comment MORE than once and it needs to be said more often.MOST tractors I see have been OVER restored. If you want an ACTUALL showroom Farmall,it probably will NOT have a perfect paintjob. It will have small flaws, drips, and smudges.(Just talk to the old timers who actually bought them back in the 40's and 50's)If you want a perfect"show tractor only" paint job,it will probably be OVER restored, but WILL look beutifull !!! It all really depends on what you want to end up with in the end . I like them all!!! I really do! But the OVER restored ones I would be VERY afraid to use for ANYTHING other than roping off and showing in the parade or show field only! I wouldnt even consider mowing my grass with those babys !!!
