Thanks for your reply Phil. Have just removed the sleeves from my WD40, they were tight enough, so I made up the heavier puller and that got them loose in reasonable time. No such luck with the 15-30, even to the point of bending the spring steel bridge I'm pulling against. I've left it sitting there overnight hoping when I return in the morning it will have snapped loose. I'm not holding my breath. I will try the hydraulic jack idea and see how I get on.
