Update: I went to the shed and ran the tractor, watching the area of the coil. It seems like there is a little pinprick hole in the coil, because oil will slowly bead on the side of it after I wipe it off. Also, I unlatched half the hood and took the breather off the valve cover. It was almost totally clogged with grease and dirt. I soaked it for 20 minutes in carb cleaner, rinsed it, blew it out with the air compressor, then reinstalled it. Could that have been causing the oil to come out of the dipstick/filler?
