The easiest way I have found to get those buggers out of there is to drill to 3/8 inch holes next to each other into the seal housing. You will be drilling about an inch deep. Then take a chisel and pound it in there then pound at an angle to start prying out the seal. Then I use slip joint plyers to rip it out. I got it down to about 10 minutes taking one of those cussable things out.
