I'm not sure about the F-12, but the H had studs with nuts holding the manifold on, so if your nuts were rusted on them, more than likely the studs would pull out of the block before the nuts would. I had this happen when I replaced the manifold on my Super H.

You can try penetrating oil soaking for several days or so. I would hesitate to put too much pressure on it right off. I see no reason you couldn't heat the nuts up a bit. An impact wrench would probably take the nuts off or pull the studs out, but this would be my last resort...

If the F-12 has this arrangement, just be careful not to break off the studs...Regards...BB
