I have a 1945 a model A farmall. It has an marvel shebler TSX34 carb, that seems to be for distillate fuel based on diagrams in the service manual, and descriptions.The intake / exaust manifold is not shielded, or equipped for valving as per the description in service manual.It is for use with gasoline. I am currently running low octane pump gas. The tractor starts and runs great, but if shut off will not start. It acts as if it is flooded.After sitting for hours, ( 6 or more) it starts right up no problem and runs fine. Could this be due to the use of the distillate carb with gasoline?
