well after spending $100 in points condenser rotor cap plugs wires and mag cap and spending 3 hours tearing it apart timing it 5 or 6 times resetting the points 5 or 6 times I said ok what can it be it would run on cylinder 2 & 3 with 1 and 4 having nothing plugs taken out and sparking like crazy big improvment. put them back in and nothing well I said stuck vlaves? well I pulled the valve cover and on #1 exhaust valve tappet rod was poped out and #4 the intake tappet rod was poped out. put them back on set the gap put it back together and just like magic 2 days of getting very upset are gone and the grass is cut. Dad is happy and my chores are behind but what a relief!!!!! any ideas of how in the world this could have happened? I think after sitting all winter the valves were stuck and popped them off?
