My opinion is that you can modify that engine as much as your bank account will stand for, but so long as you don't put that horsepower to the ground, or transfer it through a PTO shaft, nothing out of the ordinary is going to happen. If you stop and think about it, any given engine, no matter how large or how small, will produce only enough horsepower to get the job done.
