Today, I found a vent? line coming out of the operator's end of the carb that terminates down by the draft tube. I found it was plugged up 2" solid from the bottom. I cleaned it out and was wondering what is the function of this vent and what symptoms would have been caused with it being plugged. My tractor has always seemed to take a little while to start on gas and does not switch back to gas from diesel without dying.
