Since the frame# is on right front behind rediator you can be sure of the number to stamp on a new ID serial #. My 39 M has same #2241 on serial plate, motor and frame, and was sold new in oct. 1939.They started building these tractors in early July and selling them around Aug 4,39 and all castings on tractor are in sept, 1939. {motor cast date is 9-11-I}. that really stopped me for a min. One more thing. Our 1942 h we had during ww2 had a steel name plate painted black with gray border and letters.The 46 h also had the same emblem. Nice,Nice M.
