I have a Tisco engine kit for my C from this site. The pistons have a short notch on the top that goes to the edge. I assume this notch goes to the front of the block. The part number is stamped on top,nothing else. With the notch to the front this puts the number toward the camshaft, in agreement with the number on the connecting rod -- Is this correct? There is also a dab of paint on the inside of the piston which agrees with the notch on 3 of the 4 pistons, the 4th one is opposite the notch.
