I cool mine off on diesel and then shut it down on gas. It seems to restart easier that way (less smoke) I ALWAYS pull the decompression lever back to diesel after it turns off on gas. This is the way the book says to do it so I do it that way.
Not a bad price. Better if the rear tires are good.
