Hey guys! Wondering how much weight the front bolster could support off the two threaded holes where a cultivator bracket mounts? I need to add a little weight to the front of my reverse-operation cotton picker M. With that single front tire the front end is light and I was thinking of building a bracket that would bolt up to those two holes in the bolster, and then bolt 1 or possibly 2 rear wheel weights up to that. What do you guys think???
If that wont work I can always just bolt something up the frame rails. Either way I want to use wheel weights as they would have been original to the era unlike suitcase weights.
