My 41 B is set up to crank start w/o the electric setup.The old guy I bought it off had fabbed a choke rod out of some heavy wire and had a young relative crank it while he choked it from the seat :> BTW I noticed my mounting boss for the Gen. bracket on the motor isn't even tapped bored nuthin! Right now I'm rebuilding the carb as it was not much more than a semi controlled leak>
